Where to start

Start from what you see. Each page names the message the app shows you.

Every audio setting, and the one that puts films back in step.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- A computer with Windows 10 or 11, macOS 13 or later, or Linux. Or a Linux box for Thaumic Cast Server.
- Chrome 125 or later, Edge, Brave or another browser built on Chrome.
- Sonos speakers on the same network, with UPnP on in the Sonos app (Account › Legal and Privacy › Privacy & Security › Connection Security › UPnP). It is on by default. How to check.
Elsewhere
Section titled “Elsewhere”- Run Thaumic Cast Server on a Linux box, in a Proxmox container or in Docker.
- Use an app on another computer, and cast from every browser in the house.
